There were legends that at one time, many millennia ago, the world was a beautiful place. There were free air, fresh water and people lived in harmony. Trill did not believe those legends. She thought those were stories invented by people who wanted to escape from the reality of the harsh truth, which was, Earth, their home-world, was never a nice place to live in. Just finished another piece in Oil last night. Its the scenic Niagara falls. I have been there so many times and yet this is the first time I've painted it. it came out really nice with the help of my wife :)
Reflections and Rain - that's the title I chose for this one.
done quite hastily though. took me just over 2hrs to actually do it. although the canvas was laid open for more than 7 months.
This is a piece that depicts a scene on a beach during sunset when everyone has gone home but the sky is still there with its orange glow. I had lot of trouble doing this piece. The orange sky came quickly but then the water was troublesome which took some time. Then came the sand. I tried 3 different types arrangement for sand, 5 types of colour and then i gave up. took a break for about a week and then just this evenining it came to me on a platter :).
And that is the one you see now.
Overall, it took about 23 days to finish.
And I am exhilarated with the final outcome.
